From Order Entry to Delivery of Finished Product, Quality is Our Goal

To consistently meet customer requirements in an efficient manner, with zero complaints, we firmly believe that quality is paramount to our continued success. K&K maintains a state of the art, but ever improving, Quality Control System. All of our locations are ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified.

K & K machine operators are one of the most important and integral parts of our quality control measures. Our operators are highly motivated to efficiently produce quality parts.

Our machinists are required to verify the accuracy of their own production. They check all critical dimensions, according to ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified procedures. The operator's measurements are regularly cross-checked by the Quality Control Department at each facility, who are in turn overseen by our Corporate Director of Quality Assurance and his staff. All of our gauges are maintained and calibrated according to ISO/TS 16949:2002 guidelines. Quality is further assured through the direct involvement of the President of K & K.

Direct input gauging is used to eliminate the potential for human error in measuring critical dimensions. This data can be converted into SPC documentation and statistically analyzed to continuously improve our processes. Another important part of our quality system is the unique use of the production print as a living document. All vital part information is made readily available to everyone at K & K via the production print. Through our Engineering Department, the print is constantly updated to include all changes relative to the part. Customer generated changes, special instructions, routings, etc. are all electronically available to all K & K personal via our custom and extensive computer database.
